The Colombo Stock Exchange ended the day in negative territory once again, despite the IMF news, as investors awaited further clarity on the external debt restructuring process. The ASPI lost 31.00 points (-0.25%) to close at 12,359.86 whilst the S&P SL20 index decreased by 16.15 points (-0.44%) to close at 3,670.16 points. Counters such as SAMP led to the depreciation seen on ASPI followed by NDB, HAYL, BIL and LOLC.
