The Colombo Bourse ended the day in green, with the benchmark ASPI index gaining 183.55 points (+1.14%), closing at 16,314.79, while the more liquid S&P SL20 index up by 61.60 points (+1.30%) to close at 4,795.63. Counters such as MELS, SAMP, COMB, SPEN, and HAYL led the ASPI's appreciation.
